Project developers Elan Energy UK have over 40 years of joint experience developing energy infrastructure projects internationally. On this project, a corporate identity was required for GridLink, along with associated stationary, and a website.
SOHO developed a website, logo, and wider corporate identity for GridLink, over the course of a fortnight. Working with key stakeholders from across companies to build a brand that would reflect their joint-visions for the project, a low-cost, lightweight, multilingual, WordPress-based minisite was built that would allow easy modifications and additions to be made to the site by the GridLink team themselves, without having to involve external developers, or individuals with technical knowledge.
GridLink is a proposed 1.4GW HVDC/VSC 150km electricity interconnector between France and the United Kingdom. Connecting mainland Britain to Dunkerque, and costing upwards of £800 million, Gridlink will be a major international infrastructure project capable of delivering 1,400 MW of power between mainland Europe and the UK.
